I spent a couple weeks putting systems in place.
This was sheer mechanics. Literally getting under the hood with tools assembling a machine.
And then once it was done I knew it was done. I did test it. It worked.
And it sounds good. I had built a money machine.
Went to bed feeling good woke up feeling better.
First thought I had the next morning was, “how do I get in front of 1 million people?“
And that’s really it, isn’t it?. That’s what all business owners need to do.
If you have a product that is pleasing, priced correctly and has good supporting materials, you need a million people to see it.
That’s why social media exists and that’s why Internet advertising exists.
You simply need to get in front of 1 million people.
Yes, all the strategies and tactics we teach are important they are a basic minimum for being able to be in business.
But you need to figure out your attention getting mechanism as well.
Youtoob has worked for me. I have some videos that are close to 10 years old and I still get lovely comments from time to time.
Advertising works for other people. There is always a caution with advertising because it has often been compared to throwing money out the money out the window and hoping it hits someone at the right time.
And sometimes with a combination of magic and intuition you hit on the perfect combination.
The music school is in a prime location. And here’s the funny part. After trying a bunch of valid marketing tactics Julie bought a sidewalk chalk board. With her good handwriting and colorful markers she put out a lovely message.
And wouldn’t you know it enough people walk past the school that there is a steady flow of customers.
Total cost for the chalkboard was $160. Now I appreciate all the advertising gurus online but not a single one of them gets the return on investment (ROI) that that $160 investment brings in month after month in cash flow.
So, you need to figure out your attention getting mechanism. The purpose of this message is to convey to you the clarity I had when I woke up that morning with a perfect money machine and the understanding that all I needed to do was get in front of 1 million people.
