So Caleb grabbed my phone yesterday and started making videos.
He had a whole introduction that went, “So today! We’re going to …”
And then he went on to explain how he was going to make food out of Play-Doh.
And he made a different video for different colored foods and the Play-Doh required.
Kiwi = Green, etc.
And he did it for over an hour. Made about 30 little videos.
He was like a mini-You Tuber!
And yes, he was mimicking a lot of what he has seen. Especially in terms of structure – and attitude.
It was fun to watch for itself.
Halfway through I was like, ‘Well, making content is pretty easy, isn’t it?”
For marketers we need the same foundation Caleb was using – familiarity with the form. Knowing what’s out there, what works and what doesn’t.
That why we publish Retired Writer’s Club, our secret email list that helps business owners get in the groove of effective content creation to sell their products.
