What have you accomplished in the last year?
Do you have a list, even a mental one?
If not, think of what you have done in the last 12 months.
Then write it down. Share it with others. Ask them what they accomplished. Listen to them. Help them expand their list. Then expand your list. Write it down again. Post it in front of your computer or the bathroom mirror.
Make a separate list of what you want to accomplish in the next 12 months.
What should not be on the list are your failures or problems or complaints. You are always going to have those. Concentrate on them and they will eat your soul, destroy your confidence and halt your progress.
Celebrate your strength!
For the record, in the last 12 months, I have:
- Lost 45 pounds
- Written 2 books
- Launched a magazine
- Worked a full-time job
- Taken care of my family
- Helped Julie expand her business by co-signing for a retail lease and assisting with execution
- Also, I took a good punch to the face at work and shook it off.
I have more to do and I am sure you do as well. Get to it!
