I know it’s been mythologized. Like creativity is fulfilling. It’s enriching. It makes your life better.
Yes, all of that is true.
But if you need a creative solution to a actual problem, not just random creativity, you may have to work at it.
You may take a few minutes, hours, days, or even weeks to come up with the perfect Instagram story, the perfect video or blog post, or book title. These things, when they turn out to be really valuable they can take a lot of effort, right?
So my recommendation to you is to understand your industry. Know where it’s been, know where where it is today and know at least where you think it’s going.
And understand your customer, get in tune with their emotional needs.

If you understand what your customer feels, especially in relation to your product, you can make that sale. You can creatively talk to that customer and say, Hey, we have the solution that you’ve been looking for.
But again, creativity is not always easy. Having that Eureka! moment usually means you have spent long hours thinking about ypour problem and understanding how things actually work in your field.
It is the combination of knowledge, thinking and then imagination that yields those breakthrough creative beauties.
