So I had an idea that lit up my brain.
Maybe it was the other way around I’m not really sure how that works.
I wrote it down on an index card. Looking at it made me happy.
I sketched out the outline and I was still super super happy.
Then I started thinking.
Then I started doing “research.“
Then I started planning my assault.
Oh the plans became so grand.
Then the idea started to dim a bit.
It is a common scenario.
I woke up this morning super early feeling really at peace. Did some basic house work and wandered over to my office.
Then I just opened up the camera and started recording. The plan changed while I was in action.
I said to myself, “I’m just gonna do this. No planning nothing fancy I have something to teach and I’m going to teach it.“
I recorded nine short videos, made two required pages and did a little backend configuration.
And I was done. Took me less than two hours.
Now I was feeling even more peaceful. What I did was good. Anyone who picks it up will learn something they didn’t know.
It will help my business.
More important, I snapped out of the over-planning mentality and just got it out of me.
I hope if you have a business idea that this helps you. If you already have a business and want to do something new I encourage you to get something done. It’s a wonderful feeling and it allows you to make quicker, faster and more profitable progress.
Of course, I would love you to sign up for Retired Writer’s Club. Our secret email list that goes out to business owners to understand the message I just relayed.
