While there are some lunatics who never experience self-doubt, most of us go slow when starting something new.
Jumping out of planes ain’t for everybody.
But there is a point where you have to make your move.
Yes there’s always more to learn. Most of it will happen as you frantically try to open your chute mid-flight.
I believe there are many more talented people in the world that never make that move – which is part of the reason why driven, mediocre people can rise to the top.
You see you have to put it out there. You have to offer your service and ask for money in return.
You can go on the Internet and instantly spot the people without an original idea, without any meat on the bone and yet they have large followings and are making a great living.
Lunatic or psychopath I don’t know.
But I do give them credit for having a certain kind of talent. Often not the one people think they are paying for but that is another story.
And you, who are thinking about your business or a new product line, are you sure you’re not already the best?
Many of the quiet ones have more to offer than the ones who are always selling before they actually have a product.
I say go for it. You can start small and figure out your way.
I bet you’ll find a small group of customers who are shocked at how good you are. And that is often how reserved types build their business – from customers who love them.
So go ahead and let yourself be loved!
